An action platformer in which the Simpson family realises they are characters in a video game and gains superpowers as a result. You control Homer, Marge, Bart and Lisa across a series of levels, switching between two characters at a time to combine their abilities: Bart’s Bartman gliding and slingshot, Homer’s ability to transform, Lisa’s Buddha-based powers and Marge’s use of a megaphone to direct crowds. The story parodies video games and the industry itself, with levels built around send-ups of well-known genres and titles. Cutscenes are animated in the show’s style with voice work from the cast. Alongside the main stages there are collectibles hidden throughout Springfield and the game worlds, encouraging replaying levels to find everything.
