Time Stalkers – Sega Dreamcast Game

Time Stalkers is a role-playing game for the Dreamcast built around randomly generated dungeons. You explore a world where separate lands have been pulled together, descending through floors that change layout each time you enter, fighting monsters in real time and managing items and equipment. A recurring hook is that your character’s level resets when starting certain dungeons, so progress comes from what you carry and from the party you assemble. You can capture defeated monsters and bring them along as companions, and the cast includes characters drawn from other Climax role-playing games. Presentation combines polygonal environments with anime-styled character art. The structure favours repeated dungeon runs and gradual resource building rather than a fixed set of hand-designed maps.
