Winning Eleven 8 – PS2 Game

Winning Eleven 8 is a PlayStation 2 football game from Konami, part of the series known internationally as Pro Evolution Soccer. Matches are built around measured passing, off-the-ball movement and shot timing, with individual players distinguished by their pace, strength and technique. Alongside exhibition matches you get cup and league competitions, penalty shootouts, training drills and the Master League, where you manage a club over multiple seasons, negotiate transfers and develop players’ statistics. Formations, tactics and set-piece takers can be adjusted from the team menus, and quick tactical changes can be made during a match. Licensing is mixed, with some clubs and competitions carrying official names and others using stand-ins. Multiplayer supports co-operative and competitive play on a single console.
