WWF Raw – Gameboy Game

WWF Raw on Game Boy is a handheld wrestling game featuring World Wrestling Federation performers of the mid-1990s. Bouts play out on a side-on view of the ring, with a monochrome sprite presentation scaled down for the small screen. You work through strikes, grapples, irish whips into the ropes and pinfall attempts, breaking holds and reversing your opponent as the referee counts. Each wrestler has his own finishing move to attempt after wearing the other man down. Along with standard singles matches, the game offers multi-wrestler formats in keeping with the Raw name, plus a link cable option for head-to-head play against another Game Boy owner. It is a compact take on the console WWF games of the same era.
