Falsebound Kingdom sets aside cards entirely in favor of strategy and role-playing. Yugi and his friends are trapped inside a virtual world, and you lead them across a map as commanders, each accompanied by a squad of Duel Monsters. On the field you direct units in real time toward enemy forces and strongholds; when two squads meet, the battle plays out as an animated clash where the monsters’ stats and abilities decide the outcome. Monsters gain experience and grow stronger over the course of a campaign, and commanders learn skills that support their teams. Between missions you manage your roster, assign monsters to leaders, and prepare for the next map. The game features two campaigns with different protagonists and is presented in 3D throughout.
