Playstation 1 Official Dualshock Controller

The DualShock is Sony’s analog controller for the PlayStation. It keeps the original PlayStation pad’s shape and button layout — D-pad, four face buttons marked with triangle, circle, cross and square, Start and Select, and four shoulder buttons — and adds two analog sticks between the grips, each of which can be clicked in as L3 and R3. Built-in vibration motors provide force feedback in supported games. An Analog button between the sticks toggles between digital and analog modes, with an indicator light showing the current state, since some earlier games expect digital input only. The controller connects by cable to one of the console’s two front ports. It also works with the PlayStation 2 for both PS1 and most PS2 software.
