Kirby Planet Robobot – Nintendo 3DS Game

A side-scrolling platformer for Nintendo 3DS in which Kirby’s world is invaded by a mechanised force. Kirby inhales enemies to steal copy abilities such as Sword, Fire, Beam and Ice, and this entry adds the Robobot Armor, a mech Kirby pilots that can absorb enemy abilities of its own and interact with machinery, including switches and blocks that only the armour can move. Stages shift between foreground and background planes, and hidden Code Cubes are tucked away in each level to unlock further stages. Bosses close out each world. Alongside the main game are extra modes, including a boss rush and a mode featuring Meta Knight, plus multiplayer minigames. Stereoscopic 3D is used for depth effects and for attacks aimed into the screen.
