Sega Genesis Fat Original Model 1 Console – Black

The Sega Genesis Fat Original Model 1 Console is a black 16-bit Sega Genesis home console from the original Genesis era. This larger early model uses the classic top-loading cartridge slot and front controller ports associated with the first Genesis design.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to work. Comes with everything you need to play.
• Includes: console, 1 OEM wired controller, power cord, AV video cord.
• Plays standard Sega Genesis game software.
• The 16-bit library is known for fast arcade-style action, sports games, platformers, and fighting games.
• Front-facing controller ports support standard Sega Genesis wired controllers.
• The original Model 1 design is the larger “fat” Genesis shell that came before later compact revisions.

This console belongs to the first Sega Genesis hardware lineup and pairs with the platform’s cartridge-based library, including major series such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, and Phantasy Star.
