Mortal Kombat – Sega Genesis

Mortal Kombat is a Sega Genesis fighting game based on the arcade tournament fighter. This version brings Sub-Zero, Rayden, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Scorpion, Goro, and Shang Tsung into a home-console versus combat format.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Arcade-style fighting gameplay centers on one-on-one matches, special moves, combos, and finishing moves.
• The tournament includes endurance matches and mirror matches alongside standard fighter battles.
• Signature attacks include Johnny Cage’s Shadow Kick, Liu Kang’s Fireball, and Scorpion’s “Get over here!” spear move.
• Boss progression leads to the half-human dragon Goro and the shape-changing Shang Tsung.

The Genesis release is part of the early home-console wave that brought Mortal Kombat’s arcade roster and tournament structure into living rooms. Its character-specific special moves and finishing-move system became central to the series’ identity.
