Sonic the Hedgehog 3 – Sega Genesis

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is a Sega Genesis platformer featuring Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in a fast side-scrolling adventure. Set on Floating Island, it adds hidden rooms, larger Zones, new attacks, and a game save feature to the series formula.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Swinging vines, deadly traps, hidden passageways, and mega-sized Zones expand the exploration beyond straight speed runs.
• Special Stages send Sonic through 3-D energy-sphere challenges to collect the hidden Chaos Emeralds.
• Tails can airlift Sonic out of danger, adding a character-based traversal mechanic during play.
• Dr. Robotnik returns with new inventions, while Knuckles appears as his newest recruit tied to Floating Island.
• Split-screen simultaneous action mode features Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles in unique two-player Zones.

Collecting Chaos Emeralds unlocks Super Sonic, adding an extra speed-and-power reward layer beyond clearing each Zone. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 later connects directly with Sonic & Knuckles through the series’ Lock-On cartridge feature.
