Monster Rancher 3 – PlayStation 2

Monster Rancher 3 is a PlayStation 2 monster-raising and tournament battle game in Koei Tecmo’s long-running simulation series. This entry expands the series’ disc-generated monster concept with DVD support, environmental evolution, and PictureParadise image features.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Raise monsters through weeks of training, then enter them into tournaments against rival breeders.
• Monsters can change based on their training environment, including underwater training that can evolve fins.
• DVDs, music CDs, and other game discs can be used to generate original monsters.
• Versus mode includes expanded tournament options, with arena adjustments, tournament style selection, and multiple monster entries.
• PictureParadise support allows a Sony Digital Camera image to be transferred into the game as a mask worn by a monster.

The game continues the Monster Rancher formula of turning physical media into in-game creatures, a feature that became a signature mechanic of the series. Its PlayStation 2 version adds DVD-based generation beyond the earlier CD-focused approach.
