Samba De Amigo – Sega Dreamcast

Samba De Amigo is a Sega Dreamcast music game from Sonic Team built around rhythm, timing, and Latin-themed songs. Its standout hook is the Maracas Controller support, which turns the game’s shake-and-pose prompts into a more physical arcade-style experience.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Rhythm gameplay centers on matching on-screen targets to the beat across colorful song stages.
• Features a wide variety of popular Latin-themed music tracks and a cast of playful original characters.
• Five gameplay modes and multiple mini-games add variety beyond the main music stages.
• Two-player party action lets players compete together in rhythm-based performances.
• Accessories: Supports the standard Dreamcast controller, VGA Box, Maracas Controller, modem, and VMU save data using 5 blocks.

The game later received a Nintendo Wii version, keeping the maraca-shaking rhythm concept tied to motion-style play. On Dreamcast, it is closely associated with Sega’s experimental arcade-inspired music games from the console’s library.
