Wild 9 – PlayStation

Wild 9 is a PlayStation platformer from Interplay Entertainment with an intergalactic good-versus-evil setup. It stands out for its aggressive action style built around “The Rig,” a weapon system used to grab, slam, grind, and burn enemies.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Action-focused platforming emphasizes combat and set-piece movement over maze exploration.
• The Rig includes finishing tools such as the Mangler and the Decapitator for taking down alien enemies.
• Space Bike sequences break up the on-foot action with faster vehicle-based gameplay.
• KARN serves as the oversized boss threat, described as an enemy whose face is the size of New York.
• Supports Analog Control and Vibration Function features on compatible PlayStation controllers.

Wild 9 comes from Shiny Entertainment, the studio associated with Earthworm Jim, giving it a similar taste for strange humor and exaggerated sci-fi action. Its mix of platforming, enemy-torture mechanics, and vehicle segments gives the PlayStation library a distinctly late-1990s action entry.
