Gauntlet – NES

Gauntlet is a Tengen arcade action game for the NES built around maze exploration, monster combat, and fantasy questing. This version adds a new storyline centered on recovering the Sacred Orb across the Five Worlds.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Choose from four heroes: Thor the Warrior, Thyra the Valkyrie, Merlin the Wizard, or Questor the Elf.
• Features over 90 intricate mazes with rising difficulty as the quest progresses.
• Players collect food, treasure, and magic potions while fighting through swarms of enemies.
• Two-player interactive play supports both competitive action and cooperative monster fighting.
• A password feature allows progress to resume from an advanced level.

Hidden powers and abilities give each character added depth beyond the original arcade formula. The Five Worlds structure gives this NES release its own quest framework tied to the Final Room and Sacred Orb.
