Bionic Commando – NES

Bionic Commando is a Capcom platformer for the NES built around arcade-style action and mission-based combat. Its signature bionic arm changes the usual run-and-jump formula by letting the commando extend, swing, and maneuver through enemy territory.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• The bionic arm provides movement and attack options for crossing gaps, reaching platforms, and engaging enemies from a distance.
• Weapons include rapid-fire, armor-piercing, and heat-seeking options tied to the commando’s one-man assault.
• The mission moves from heavily patrolled wilderness areas toward the enemy headquarters and fortress.
• Based on Capcom’s arcade action concept, the NES version brings the Bionic Commando premise into a home-console format.

The game’s hook is its grappling-style movement, which separates it from standard NES platformers built mainly around jumping. Later Bionic Commando releases continued using the bionic arm as the central mechanic of the series.
