Altered Beast

Altered Beast: Guardian of the Realms is a Game Boy Advance action-adventure game in Sega’s beast-transformation series. The game centers on Zeus raising the hero from the grave to battle an unknown evil across multiple worlds.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling action gameplay focuses on collecting keys and essence while fighting through monster-filled realms.
• Orbs of essence transform the hero from human form into beast creatures, including dragon and scorpion forms.
• Power-ups such as shockwave and venom add special attacks to combat encounters.
• Multiplayer includes 2-player co-op story mode and 4-player battle arenas using a Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, with each player needing a copy of the game.

Guardian of the Realms extends the Altered Beast formula onto Game Boy Advance with portable stages built around transformation-based combat. Its multiplayer modes require the Game Boy Advance Game Link Cable, making linked play a specific part of the original hardware experience.
