Streets of Rage 2 – Sega Genesis

Streets of Rage 2 is a Sega Genesis beat ’em up featuring side-scrolling street combat across gang-filled stages. Axel and Blaze return with expanded attacks, joined by Max Thunder and Skate as playable fighters with distinct fighting styles.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Beat ’em up gameplay centers on punches, jump kicks, throws, and weapon-based attacks against waves of street enemies.
• Max Thunder adds wrestling-style body slams and spinning fist attacks, while Skate uses high-speed inline skate attacks and spinning jump kicks.
• Enemy encounters include dirt bikers that rush in from multiple sides, with pipes available as counterattack weapons.
• The game features all-new moves built for a 16-meg Genesis release.
• Head-to-Head mode adds a separate two-player fighting option outside the standard brawler progression.

This sequel expands the original Streets of Rage formula with a larger character lineup and a dedicated versus-style mode. It was followed by Streets of Rage 3, which continued the series on Sega Genesis.
