Top Gun – NES

Top Gun is a Konami flight simulation game for the NES based on the high-speed Navy fighter combat theme of the film franchise. Missions center on carrier-launched aerial combat over hostile waters, with radar contacts, guns, and missiles driving the action.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Flight simulation gameplay focuses on dogfighting enemy aircraft from a cockpit-style perspective.
• Radar tracking is a key part of combat, with incoming bogeys appearing as threats during missions.
• Weapons include cannon fire and missiles for engaging enemy targets in the air.
• Mission structure includes training and task force defense scenarios tied to carrier operations.

The NES release connects the Top Gun license with Konami’s 8-bit action-simulation style, built around takeoff, aerial engagement, and mission survival rather than traditional side-scrolling combat.
