NES Open Tournament Golf – NES

NES Open Tournament Golf is a Nintendo Entertainment System golf game featuring Mario in a Sports Series tournament format. Its play centers on club selection, wind, turf conditions, hazards, and tournament winnings across international courses.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Golf gameplay includes sand traps, water hazards, wind checks, shot power, and club choice.
• Three courses are available, set in the US, Japan, and the U.K.
• Practice rounds lead into tournament play with prize money increasing as performance improves.
• Competition includes 36 computerized golfers with rankings to climb.
• A battery-backed save feature supports stopping before finishing a full round.

The game connects Mario sports branding with a more traditional golf simulation structure, placing familiar Nintendo characters into an 18-hole tournament setting. Its Sports Series placement ties it to Nintendo’s early NES lineup of approachable athletic games.
