POW Prisoners of War – NES

POW Prisoners of War is an NES beat’em up from SNK built around military rescue-and-escape action. The game follows a captain of Army Special Forces Unit “M” infiltrating GOON after being captured inside an armed prison camp.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling combat focuses on bare-fist brawling against enemy soldiers across hostile camp environments.
• Weapons can be picked up during the escape, adding variety beyond standard punching and kicking attacks.
• The mission centers on stopping GOON, the Government of Offensive Network, before its leaders destroy the world’s economy.
• Arcade-style action pacing gives the NES version a straightforward combat-first structure.

The title connects SNK’s military action style with the NES library’s late-1980s wave of arcade-influenced brawlers. Its prison-break setup gives the game a clear objective from the opening capture through the fight to freedom.
