Adventure Island II – NES

Adventure Island II is a Hudson Soft platformer for the NES starring Master Higgins in a prehistoric island rescue adventure. The game expands the series with eight treacherous islands, creature-filled stages, and a mix of horizontal and vertical scrolling action.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Classic side-scrolling platform gameplay built around running, jumping, axe attacks, and survival through hazard-heavy stages.
• The Evil Witch Doctor has kidnapped Higgins’ favorite lady, setting up a rescue quest across island environments.
• Enemies include fire-spitting prehistoric monsters, giant scorpions, king cobras, and other creatures tied to the island theme.
• Stage select gives the game a more flexible structure than a strictly linear platform run.
• Environmental challenges include molten volcanoes and varied scrolling sections that change the pace of play.

As the follow-up to the original Adventure Island, this sequel keeps the food-and-survival platforming style while adding broader island progression and expanded stage variety.
