Need for Speed – PlayStation

Need for Speed is a PlayStation racing game from Electronic Arts built around high-speed exotic car competition. The Road & Track presentation highlights real-world supercars with stats, history, and video profiles for each vehicle.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Race across six scenic tracks in time trials, head-to-head events, single races, and tournament play.
• The car roster includes eight exotics: Lamborghini Diablo VT, Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, Porsche 911 Carrera, Ferrari 512TR, Acura NSX, Mazda RX-7, Dodge Viper RT/10, and Toyota Supra Turbo.
• Vehicle handling is modeled around real-life counterparts, with crashes and consequences built into the racing action.
• Split-screen and link-up racing support direct competition, including Link Cable play across two consoles.
• Analog Joystick compatibility adds an alternate control option for players using supported PlayStation hardware.

This early Need for Speed entry helped establish the series around licensed performance cars, detailed vehicle profiles, and point-to-point racing rather than arcade mascot tracks.
