Dead or Alive – PlayStation

Dead or Alive is a PlayStation fighting game from Koei Tecmo built around hand-to-hand martial arts combat. The game emphasizes pure fighting with no weapons, magic attacks, or projectile-style gimmicks, focusing instead on timing, reversals, and close-range pressure.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. The disc play surface is in nice condition.
• Features an intricate 3D fighting system with combined attack maneuvers and reversal attacks.
• Danger Zone Mode adds stage-based hazards that can change the pace of a match.
• PlayStation-specific content includes more characters, additional costumes, and new moves.
• Seamlessly rendered characters and dynamic backgrounds with light-sourcing give matches a distinct late-1990s arcade-fighter look.
• Memory Card support uses 1 block for saved data.

The series would later expand with Dead or Alive 2, building on the original’s 3D martial arts system and counter-focused combat.
