Batman Returns – Super Nintendo

Batman Returns is a Super Nintendo beat ’em up based on the Batman film storyline. The game sends Batman through Gotham City against The Penguin, Catwoman, the Red Triangle Circus Gang, and other movie-inspired enemies.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Side-scrolling action focuses on close-range combat with kicks, punches, body slams, and heavy-hitting Batman attack moves.
• Seven stages include Gotham street battles, high-speed Batmobile chase scenes, a circus train sequence, and The Penguin’s Arctic World hideout.
• Batman uses the Batarang and Batdiscs alongside hand-to-hand attacks during combat and chase sections.
• Five difficulty settings are included, with Maniac Mode positioned as the toughest challenge.
• Named encounters include Catwoman, Tattooed Strongman, Roller Clown, Organ Grinder, penguin commandos, and The Penguin’s exploding umbrella.

The story includes objectives such as rescuing the kidnapped Ice Princess and freeing neighborhood kids held hostage on The Penguin’s circus train. Its film-based structure gives the SNES release a clear place within the early 1990s Batman game lineup.
