Is This Your Problem?
This flex ribbon is a common failure point after liquid exposure. It may be your fix if your AirPods Max are showing any of these symptoms:
- No power after liquid exposure, even with a known good battery and boards
- Intermittent audio dropout or complete audio loss on one or both sides
- Headphones power on, but one ear cup has no audio
- Power board and Bluetooth board test good, but the headphones still will not function
