Common Signs This Part Needs Replacing
This flex ribbon is the only connection between the top buttons and the main board, so a damaged ribbon can look exactly like a button problem. Common signs this part needs replacing include one or more top buttons not responding at all, buttons working intermittently or only when the housing is pressed a certain way, the status LEDs not lighting up correctly, NFC tap to connect no longer working, or a visibly creased, torn, or kinked ribbon cable.
What’s Included
- 1 x UE Everboom Motherboard to Top Button Flex Ribbon
Installation Notes
No soldering required. This ribbon connects to the main board and the top button PCB using flex connectors. Handle the ribbon carefully during removal and installation to avoid creasing or tearing it, and make sure each end is seated fully and evenly in its connector before closing the housing.
