Super Metroid is an action-adventure game for the Super Nintendo starring Samus Aran on Planet Zebes. The game centers on recovering a surviving Metroid hatchling while confronting Space Pirates, Ridley, Kraid, and the return of Mother Brain.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Exploration-driven action combines platforming, combat, and gradual access to new areas through upgraded abilities.
• Planet Zebes is divided into six large areas with interconnected passageways and hidden routes.
• Samus can use new beams, missiles, and high-tech devices to expand movement and combat options.
• Gameplay features signature moves such as somersault attacks and electric beam swinging through narrow passages.
• The 24-megabit Super Nintendo release was promoted as the largest Super NES game of its time.

The story continues the Metroid conflict by placing the last known hatchling at the center of the Space Pirates’ plans. Its Zebes structure helped shape the exploration-and-upgrade style associated with the Metroid series.
