Super Mario Kart – Super Nintendo

Super Mario Kart is a Super Nintendo racing game starring Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong Jr., Toad, and Koopa Troopa. It combines Mode 7 split-screen racing with item-based kart combat across Grand Prix races and balloon-bursting Battle Mode.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Racing gameplay blends tight cornering, track hazards, and power-up weapons such as Koopa Shells, Banana Peels, and Super Stars.
• Mario Grand Prix mode features 20 different tracks and three skill levels built around the quest for the Gold Cup.
• Battle Mode uses four maze-like arenas where racers try to pop opponents’ target balloons instead of reaching a finish line.
• Head-to-head racing and Battle Mode support competitive split-screen play on the same system.
• Battery-backed memory saves best times for time-trial style competition and record chasing.

This is the first game in the Mario Kart series, establishing the character roster, item boxes, cups, and Battle Mode format that later entries continued to build on.
