A loose hinge screw is why your Bose QC35 or QC45 earcup flops around like it has given up on life. This screw and washer set locks the swivel back in place.
Choose your version in the variant selector:
- Black: Genuine Bose OEM hinge screw with the original set of 5 silver washers
- Silver: JoesGE replacement screw with 4 washers (ours are a bit thicker, so you need one less)
Installation instructions
Black OEM screw: The 5 washers go back in the same positions as the original screw. Watch our QC35 hinge replacement video to see where each washer sits, then slide the squared off end of the screw through the side of the swivel with the square divot and tighten with two T8 screwdrivers.
Silver JoesGE screw: Put 3 washers on the deeper side of the swivel and 1 washer on the shallower side, then slide the squared off end of the screw through the side with the square divot and tighten with two T8 screwdrivers. See step 4 of the written repair guide or watch this fast install video.
