Alex Kidd in Miracle World – Sega Master System Game

Alex Kidd in Miracle World is a platformer for the Sega Master System. You control Alex Kidd, who attacks with his oversized fists, punching enemies and smashing blocks that hide money bags, food and other items. Stages move through mountains, caves, underwater sections and towns, and shops let you spend collected cash on gear. Vehicle segments break up the running and jumping, including a motorbike and a helicopter-like craft, and some routes offer alternative paths. Bosses are settled with rounds of rock-paper-scissors rather than combat, so reading your opponent’s pattern matters as much as reflexes. Hazards are unforgiving and a single hit ends a life, which puts a premium on learning stage layouts. The goal is to cross the kingdom of Radaxian and confront Janken the Great.
