Action Fighter – Sega Master System Game

Action Fighter is a vehicle combat game for the Sega Master System. You drive through scrolling stages, weaving through traffic and enemy vehicles while shooting and avoiding collisions. Starting out on a motorcycle, you can collect power-ups along the route to add weapons and defences, and docking with a support truck lets you switch to other vehicles, including a car, as you progress. Each stage tasks you with reaching a goal within a time limit while destroying targets and dodging obstacles and hazards on the road. Control is simple, with steering, acceleration and a fire button, but the traffic patterns and enemy attacks demand steady reflexes. The mix of racing-style movement and shooting gives it a faster pace than a pure driving game.
