Bad Street Brawler – NES Game

Bad Street Brawler is a side-scrolling beat ’em up for the NES in which you fight your way through city streets against gangs of thugs and other odd opponents. Rather than giving you a single fixed move list, the game assigns you a limited set of attacks that changes as you progress, so you have to adapt your approach to whatever punches, grabs and throws are currently available. Enemies come at you from both sides, and stages are short, arcade-style stretches of brawling with a boss-style confrontation to close them out. The game is one of the titles that supports the Power Glove peripheral, though it also plays with a standard controller. The presentation is bright and cartoonish rather than gritty.
