Beavis and Butthead – SNES Game

A side-scrolling action game based on the MTV animated series, with Beavis and Butt-Head as the playable pair. You explore locations drawn from the show, dealing with characters and obstacles using items you pick up along the way and simple attacks. The central goal is to recover pieces of a torn concert ticket, which sends you between areas rather than through a single linear run of levels. You can switch between the two characters, and sections include indoor and outdoor environments with enemies, hazards and platforming. Humour from the series carries into the sprite work, animations and text, including the pair’s reactions to being hurt. Lives are limited and enemies deal damage on contact, so timing your approach matters.
