Bomberman – NES Game

Bomberman on the Nintendo Entertainment System puts you in single-screen mazes made of destructible blocks, where you plant bombs to blow open paths and eliminate the enemies moving around each stage. Explosions travel in a cross from where the bomb was placed, and they can catch you as easily as your opponents, so each round becomes an exercise in timing and positioning. Destroying blocks uncovers power-ups that let you carry more bombs at once, extend blast range or grant other abilities, while a hidden door leads to the next stage once all enemies are gone. Enemy types differ in speed and movement patterns, and later stages tighten the layouts and increase the pressure. The game is played from a top-down view across a long series of levels.
