Bubble Bobble – NES Game

Bubble Bobble on the NES is a home conversion of Taito’s single-screen arcade game. You play as one of two bubble dragons, Bub and Bob, clearing each stage by blowing bubbles to trap the enemies wandering the platforms, then bursting those bubbles to finish them off. Bubbles rise and drift after they are fired, so aiming takes some anticipation, and popping clusters at once releases fruit and other bonus items. Power-ups change how your bubbles behave or boost your movement, while special bubbles unleash effects across the screen. Each level is a small fixed arrangement of platforms, and you move directly to the next when the screen is empty. Two players can play at the same time cooperatively, which changes how stages are tackled and affects the ending you reach.
