Goof Troop – SNES Game

Goof Troop is a top-down action game for the Super Nintendo starring Goofy and his son Max. One player controls Goofy and the other controls Max, and both can play at the same time on the same screen. Progress depends as much on puzzle-solving as on combat: you push and pull blocks, shove crates into position, hit switches and clear paths so you can reach locked areas and move on. Each character carries tools and items picked up along the way, used to deal with enemies and obstacles. Levels are built as single-screen or scrolling rooms grouped into larger areas, each ending in a confrontation. Cooperative play lets the two characters work opposite sides of a room, which changes how some puzzles are approached.
