Jeremy McGrath SuperCross 2000 is a motocross racing game for Game Boy Color, licensed around the supercross rider of the same name. You race dirt bikes around stadium-style tracks built from jumps, whoops, banked turns and tight rhythm sections, competing against a pack of rival riders. Handling centers on managing throttle and landings, since overshooting a jump or coming down badly costs speed and position. The game includes single races and a season-style championship where finishing places accumulate toward an overall standing, along with time-based practice riding. Tracks are presented from a behind-the-bike viewpoint scaled down for the handheld’s screen. As a portable version of the console release, it keeps the focus on lap racing and jump timing rather than extensive bike customization.
