Lamborghini American Challenge – Gameboy Game

Lamborghini American Challenge is a racing game for Game Boy in which you compete in a series of races across locations in the United States. Racing takes place from a behind-the-car view on winding roads against a small field of rivals. Prize money from each event can be spent on upgrades such as engine, tyre and body improvements, so building up your car between races is part of the progression. Placing well is necessary to keep advancing, and damage and repairs factor into how you drive. The presentation is monochrome with a scaling road effect and a simple heads-up display for speed and position. Passwords or saves let you return to your campaign, and the emphasis is on the balance between spending winnings and risking your car.
