Lufia and The Fortress of Doom – SNES Game

Lufia and the Fortress of Doom is a turn-based role-playing game for the Super Nintendo. It opens with a group of heroes confronting the Sinistrals, a set of god-like antagonists, before shifting forward in time to a descendant of that hero, who is drawn into a new conflict as the Sinistrals’ threat returns. You explore an overworld map, visit towns to buy equipment and gather information, and work through dungeons filled with random encounters. Combat uses a menu-driven system with physical attacks, magic and items, and your party grows as new characters join the story. Progression follows familiar RPG structure: levelling up, stronger gear, and gradually widening travel options across the world. The story is told through town dialogue and scripted scenes, and it connects directly to the wider Lufia series.
