M.C. Kids – NES Game

M.C. Kids is a side-scrolling platform game built around McDonald’s advertising characters. You play as Mick or Mack, two kids searching for Ronald McDonald’s missing magic bag, which has been taken by the Hamburglar. From an overworld map you enter individual levels, running and jumping through themed areas populated by familiar mascots from the restaurant’s advertising. The central mechanic is the ability to pick up blocks and carry or throw them, using them to reach higher platforms, cross gaps and solve small environmental puzzles. Levels hide collectable cards, and gathering enough of them opens the way forward on the map. Later stages introduce twists such as reversed gravity and slippery surfaces. Two players can take turns, one controlling Mick and the other Mack.
