Marble Madness – NES Game

A home conversion of the arcade isometric marble game. You control a marble rolling down angled, three-dimensional-looking courses, working toward the goal before the timer runs out, with any remaining time added to the next stage. The marble carries momentum, so steering is about anticipating slopes and easing it away from edges rather than making sharp turns. Courses are filled with narrow paths, ramps, gaps and hazards, including creatures and other marbles that can knock you off or destroy your marble entirely. Each course introduces new terrain and obstacles, and the difficulty rises steadily as the routes get tighter. Attempts are short, and improvement comes from memorizing layouts and finding faster lines. The presentation pairs the angled courses with a distinctive electronic soundtrack.
