Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker – Sega Master System Game

Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker for the Sega Master System is a side-scrolling action game loosely based on the film. You control Michael as he searches stages for kidnapped children, freeing them once they are found and moving on when the level is cleared. Rather than conventional weapons, your attacks are dance-based: Michael strikes poses and throws off bursts of energy at the gangsters and dogs blocking his path, and he can trigger a routine that damages everything nearby. Levels are built from locations such as clubs, streets and caves, with searchable doors and hidden areas to check. Arrangements of Jackson’s music play over the action through the Master System’s sound hardware, tying the stages to the film’s soundtrack.
