Ms. Pac-Man [Namco] – NES Game

Namco’s release of Ms. Pac-Man for the NES adapts the arcade maze game to the console. You move Ms. Pac-Man around enclosed mazes, eating every dot while four ghosts chase you through the corridors. The energizers in the corners flip the situation for a few seconds, letting you eat the ghosts for points before they reform and resume the hunt. Side tunnels wrap you around to the other edge of the screen, and bonus fruit travels through the maze rather than sitting still, so catching it takes positioning. Maze designs vary as you clear boards and the ghosts speed up over time. Play is score-focused and confined to a single screen, with simple four-direction controls and no save or story elements.
