Navy Seals – Gameboy Game

Navy Seals is a side-scrolling action game for the Game Boy, tied to the film of the same name. You control a special forces operative moving left to right through enemy-held territory, shooting hostile soldiers, clearing out fortified positions and reaching objectives before time runs out. Movement is the standard platform-action set: running, jumping, climbing and ducking, with a firearm as your main tool and limited extra ordnance for tougher obstacles. Levels take place across military and urban environments rendered in the Game Boy’s monochrome palette, and enemies arrive steadily from the front, from above and from doorways as you advance. Contact with gunfire or hazards drains your health, and running out of lives sends you back to restart the stage. Play is single-player throughout.
