Paperboy – Gameboy Game

Paperboy for Game Boy is a handheld version of the arcade delivery game. Viewed from an angled overhead perspective, you cycle along a residential street and throw newspapers at the houses of your subscribers, aiming for porches and mailboxes. Non-subscriber homes are fair game for windows and property damage, which adds to your score. The route is crowded with hazards such as moving cars, pedestrians, dogs and obstacles scattered across sidewalks and lawns, and a collision or a wandering off the street costs a life. Missing deliveries loses you customers and shortens the round for the next day. Each day ends with a timed obstacle course ride, and play continues day by day through the week as the street becomes more dangerous.
