Pokemon Crystal – Gameboy Color Game

Pokemon Crystal is a Game Boy Color role-playing game set in the Johto region, building on Pokemon Gold and Silver. You raise a team of Pokemon, battle trainers in turn-based combat, collect Gym badges and work toward the Pokemon League, with the Kanto region also available later in the adventure. Crystal adds animated Pokemon sprites that play when a Pokemon enters battle, and it is the first game in the series to let you choose to play as a female trainer. The legendary Pokemon Suicune features in an expanded storyline, and the Battle Tower offers level-restricted battles against sets of opponents. Day and night cycles affect which Pokemon appear, and Pokemon can breed and hold items. Link Cable play supports trading and battling with other Game Boy games.
