Quest for Camelot – Gameboy Color Game

Quest for Camelot is an action-adventure game for the Game Boy Color, tied to the animated film of the same name. Play takes place from an overhead perspective as you guide the heroine through forests, caves and other outdoor areas, fighting enemies, solving small environmental puzzles and gathering items needed to progress. Progress is broken into distinct areas connected by a linear path through the story, with cutscene panels between sections carrying the narrative. Combat is direct and close-range, and health is managed through pickups found along the way. The presentation uses the Game Boy Color’s palette for detailed backgrounds and character sprites. It is a compact, story-led adventure aimed at a broad audience rather than a lengthy or difficult one.
