Battleship – Gameboy Color Game

Battleship on Game Boy Color is a video adaptation of the Hasbro naval guessing game. You place a fleet of ships on a hidden grid, then trade shots with an opponent, calling coordinates and marking hits and misses until one side’s vessels are all sunk. The handheld version handles the tracking for you, showing your own grid and your record of shots against the enemy, and lets you play against computer opposition when no second player is around. Rounds are short and turn-based, making it suited to brief handheld sessions. The presentation adds visual feedback to hits and sinkings that the cardboard original cannot, while keeping the deduction-and-guesswork core of the board game intact. It runs on Game Boy Color and later compatible handhelds.
