Rock ‘n Roll Racing – SNES Game

Rock ‘n Roll Racing is an isometric combat racing game for the Super Nintendo. You select a driver and vehicle and take on rivals across a series of planets, each with its own tracks and hazards, using forward-firing weapons and rear-dropped explosives to knock opponents out of contention. Prize money and points from each race pay for upgrades to your engine, tyres, suspension, armour and weapon ammunition, as well as for new vehicles that are needed to stay competitive on later circuits. Tracks feature jumps, oil slicks and open pits, and a commentator calls out overtakes and wrecks as they happen. The soundtrack consists of rock arrangements played on the SNES sound hardware, and two players can compete together.
