A side-scrolling platform game that sends Bart Simpson around the globe after Mr. Burns launches a scheme against the family. Levels are grouped by country, with each region built from several stages that use local landmarks and stereotypes for their backdrops and enemies. Bart attacks by jumping on foes and throwing items, and you collect objects scattered through each stage while avoiding hazards. Between stages there are quiz and minigame breaks featuring Simpsons trivia. Each region ends with a confrontation against one of Burns’ relatives. The presentation uses characters and gags from the show, with cartoon sprites and stage themes matching the countries you visit. Play is focused on careful jumping and route learning across the level maps.
